Picture
CHANGE THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT
Peace, Youth, and Performance

Mary Ann Hunter documents innovative ways the arts empower young people to become peacemakers within their communities. Hunter examines projects of the Australian arts organizations Contact Inc, Backbone Youth Arts, and Street Arts, which have supported young people from diverse backgrounds to bring latent conflict into the public eye, transcend conflict in their daily lives, and promote peaceful coexistence and social change.
